Is NotaBill free?
Yes! NotaBill has a free version with basic features and watermarked PDFs. Upgrade to NotaBill Pro for watermark-free PDFs and premium features.
Do I need to create an account?
No account required! NotaBill works entirely offline. You can optionally sign in with Apple for iCloud sync across your devices.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't collect, track, or store any of your information on external servers. Optional iCloud sync uses your personal iCloud account.
Using NotaBill
How do I create my first invoice?
Simply open the app and start typing! NotaBill uses natural language input - just describe your work like you would in an email. The app will automatically format it into a professional invoice.
Can I customize invoice templates?
Yes! NotaBill Pro includes multiple professional templates and customization options. Free users get access to the classic template.
How do I share an invoice?
After generating an invoice, tap the share button. You can send it via email, Messages, or save it to Files. PDFs are generated automatically.
Can I track payment status?
Yes! You can mark invoices as paid, set due dates, and use the calendar integration to track payment deadlines. The Spot Check feature gives you a quick overview of outstanding invoices.






Data & Privacy
Can I export my invoices?
Yes! Go to Settings → Data → Export. You can export as JSON, PDF, CSV, or a ZIP file containing all formats.
Can I delete all my data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Data → Clear All Data. This will permanently delete all invoices and client information. This action cannot be undone.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, a copy is stored in your personal iCloud account. We never access your data.
Technical Issues
The app crashes or freezes
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, restart your device. If problems continue, email us with details about when the crash occurs.
iCloud sync isn't working
Make sure you're signed in to iCloud in your device Settings, and that iCloud Drive is enabled. Check that you have available iCloud storage space.
PDF generation is slow
Large invoices with many items may take a few seconds to generate. This is normal. If it takes more than 10 seconds, try closing and reopening the app.

Subscriptions & Payments
How do I upgrade to NotaBill Pro?
Open the app, tap the menu (⋮) in the top right, and tap "Upgrade" on the Premium card. You can also upgrade from Settings.
How do I manage my subscription?
Manage your subscription through your Apple ID Account Settings on your device or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the app, tap the menu (⋮), and tap "Restore Purchases". This will restore your NotaBill Pro subscription if you've purchased it before.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled through Apple's App Store refund policy. Contact Apple Support for refund requests. We don't process refunds directly.
